Charleston's 18th Annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration

In 2015 Charleston will be celebrating it's 18 year of St. Patrick's Day and a parade down King Street. This year's parade will include 2000 participants along with many thousands lined up down King and Broad Streets. The annual parade always includes local and national celebraties and this year is no different. Our 2015 Grand Marshall is the one and only Mike Veeck, the King of Fun. The parade will include Irish step dancers, Irish fiddlers, bands, antique cars, local historical Irish Parish members, local college and pro team mascots, The Citadel's Summerall Guards and lots more.
This annual celebration begins at 8 AM with a Mass @ the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, followed by a parade on King Street and Irish flag raising @ City Hall. Open to all, Irish or not.
10 AM, St. Patrick's Day Parade from Radcliffe to King to Broad.
11:30 AM, Irish Flag-Raising (and related ceremonies) @ Charleston's City Hall, 80 Broad Street (@ Meeting, Charleston's famous "4 Corners of Law").
