For Immediate Release, November 2007 http://www.fishrestaurant.net
As “mixology” continues to grow in popularity across the country and the art of the cocktail is taken to new levels, food and alcohol pairings have broadened to not only include wine, but liquor and specialty cocktails as well. Recognizing that customers are becoming increasingly savvy in regards to cocktails, the team at Fish restaurant at 442 King Street in downtown Charleston has recently been hard at work creating some new additions to the menu. This fall, the creative masterminds behind the bar at Fish have unveiled several handcrafted, seasonal cocktails. These innovative and colorful concoctions feature housemade infused liquors made with fresh, seasonal ingredients, all created by bartenders Evan Powell and Sean Wallace.
This month, customers can enjoy cocktails at Fish made with Powell and Wallace’s new fig-infused vodka, which is a perfect addition to the fashionable “Cosmopolitan”, as well as the pumpkin-infused bourbon, which is excellent served on the rocks. As with the cuisine at Fish, all ingredients used for the infused liquors are high-quality, seasonal and of the peak freshness. These specialty cocktails are only available for a limited time, as they will change often to reflect the season.
