Over 150 Volunteer Positions Are Available For The 2008 BB&T Charleston Food + Wine Festival

Have you ever wondered how the Food + Wine Festival comes together? In order to organize and produce an event of such enormity, the organizers of the Festival are seeking over 150 volunteers to serve in a variety of positions. Some of the opportunities include party set up, vendor relations, wine pourers, customer service, media and VIP liaisons and more. Sign up to be a volunteer and get a birds-eye view of the behind-the-scenes action during the 2008 Festival!
Volunteers do not pay an application fee this year and will receive the following benefits:
-Official embroidered Festival apron ($50 value)
-Access to the Volunteer On-Site Lounge with complimentary breakfast or lunch ($15 per meal)

The BB&T Charleston Food + Wine Festival is set to combine the city’s best culinary experiences into one spectacular weekend, February 28-March 2, 2008. A food and wine event like no other, the Festival provides guests the opportunity to meet the country’s best chefs, authors and wine professionals.
